Hi, I’m Dionne

I’m 25 years old, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I absolutely love writing for the fun of it. Now, let’s cut to the chase.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’d like to give a fair warning: I love to talk. I talk through storytelling. And when I say storytelling, I’m talking about starting off with an extremely detailed backstory before I even begin to tell you what I wanted to tell you in the first place. I’m not just trying to tell you what happened, I’m trying to help you visualize what happened. I pretty much want your imagination flowing in order to picture my story—any story, really—as a movie scene in your head. See, technically I could tell you many stories in 3-5 sentences...but where’s the fun in that? If I wanted to tell you about how I embarrassingly tripped and dropped my coffee in a cafe in front of everyone, I’m going to start from square one and tell you every single detail of where I was, how I first walked in, how I fell, how I felt, how these fellow coffee drinkers looked and probably felt, etc. I just think one of the best gifts from this simulation we call “life” is this: we can truly live vicariously through one another if we simply use our imagination and listen. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my life through stories, and I hope you can find something you can resonate with as I post on here. So, without further ado…let’s chat.
