The Not-so-Little Things I Love
I think it is very human to look past the small, magic happenings in our lives. Often times, we don’t realize how much of a contribution the little details make.
I’m making the active effort to express daily gratitude by slowing down in order to notice these gifts life freely hands us. What can you do to show gratitude to the universe?

Let’s chat about the not-so-little things I love.
getting all the words right to a song I know by heart
the sleep you get after spending the entire day at the beach
“of course I remember”
when Frank Ocean starts singing in Godspeed, “I will always love you…”
candlelit showers
looking out the window on a plane (I did this last night)
“this reminded me of you”
banana marshmallow ice cream
telling someone I thought of them
reading a good book in the pool under the sun
tan lines
going down memory lane with loved ones
honest conversations (especially when you don’t necessarily want to be honest)
that feeling of the sun slowly warming up my skin
when a loved one picks me up from the airport (there is so much love in such a favor. they are showing and telling me, “allow me to welcome you home. let me take you home.”)
Thanks for tuning into this post!
This is simply a reminder for myself to count my blessings. Maybe in reading this, you, too, will learn to love the things you once dismissed.
