Film Diaries [Entry 1]: Italy on Film

I love film photography, and what better way to share the beauty of film through this series I would like to call Film Diaries.

Film is something I finally dipped my toes into in 2019 with a disposable camera. Lucky me was gifted the most beautiful Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 80—my first official point and shoot camera. As time went on, I eventually invested in my second precious baby, the Canon EF.

There is something so special to me about film, and I hope that through this series I can share its charm with you.

Today, I’ll be sharing some shots from my first trip to Italy in September 2021.

Pantheon Roma

Arch of ConstantinoRoma

Ponte Sisto on the Tiber River — Roma

Views from Palatino — Roma

Spiaggia Libera in Amalfi — Campania

If this sparks your interest and you’d like to see more, check out my Instagram film diary here—featuring most of my travels, the sweetest moments, and beautiful faces (you might even be on it!).

All photos were taken on my Canon EF, with Kodak Portra 400 (35mm) film.
